Due to the large physical capacity of the Surface Protection plating lines a large proportion of zinc plating is carried out for the retail trade and the plant are regularly processing shop fitting equipment as well as baskets, roll containers and shopping trollies subsequently supplied to the likes of Sunlight, Tesco, Morrisons and Marks and Spencer.
Other zinc plating processes with additional treatments such as JS 500, torque and tension additions are applied to numerous industrial products including fasteners, disc springs and spring pins, circlips and retaining rings for electrical power distribution, springs, formed bar, brackets, fixtures and mounts, hydraulic fittings, tubes and bars.
